Whether you have a litter box for your cat or your dog, you know how bad the litter box can get to smelling. I have two cats that use one litter box that I clean out once a day and it smells horribly at times. I’ve tried several different methods and several products to help keep the smell down until the next time that I wash the litter box out and change the litter but couldn’t find much that worked other than Odor-Z-Way.
I have found that by using Odor-Z-Way to help keep the litter odors down works excellent. I will just sprinkle a dusting of Odor-Z-Way across the top of the litter until it looks like there is a white blanket over the litter. I then take my scooper and mix the Odor-Z-Way into my litter. Since I have two cats using the litter box, this works for two to three days until the odor starts coming back at which point I add more Odor-Z-Way.
The benefits that I have found by using Odor-Z-Way in the litter box are that the product is completely safe for my cats. The product is fine for them to scratch around in, walk on, etc. The biggest benefit though, is that the Odor-Z-Way removes the ammonia which is what is causing the odor. The ammonia is dangerous to the pet’s health, so, it is nice using a product that absorbs the ammonia into its crystal structure helping to reduce health risks.
I know that Odor-Z-Way will not completely cure the odors coming from your pet’s litter box, but the product will greatly reduce the odors and help reduce to possible health risks that can be a result from ammonia.
